Wood Depot was founded in 2022 by three passionate woodworkers:
David, Brandon, and Jeff.
Enthused by the niche industry of woodcrafting, they came together with the vision of combining their unique experiences and expertise to create artisanal, handcrafted pieces that stand the test of time.
Wood Depot also serves as a community hub and workspace for woodworkers and hobbyists eager to build projects for their homes or businesses. Additionally, we offer a wide selection of wood for your own projects.
THE ARTISANS
David
David has a passion for all things wood and works primarily with exotic and highly figured wood. He specializes in hand cut joinery and using wood in combination with epoxy to create bespoke pieces of furniture that evoke emotion.
Brandon
After starting his own custom furniture company, Passion Woodworks, Brandon quickly realized that access to quality imported woods was a challenge. He has an ambition to build a community where woodworkers can access wood and knowledge to improve their craft

Jeff
Jeff is a third-generation carpenter. He first stepped into a wood workshop at the age of 10. He has been involved in this trade for almost his whole life. Most recently, he ran Carbon Tree, a woodworking company, specialising in the restoration of heritage wood pieces.
